Alice?

I feel like Alice
I chased a boy and fell down a hole
And now I'm quite lost.

He is the King of Hearts
And is angry because I am crazy
So I must paint myself sane to appease him.

I feel like Alice
I came across a tea party
But all the rules have changed.

Now he is Mad as a Hatter
And with the things that the throws
Heaven only knows, I might become black and blue to match her.

I feel like Alice
I have found a boy
And he is tricky indeed.

He can disappear and reappear
His smile is big and his eyes are round,
Or is that a frown? He says things that I cannot unravel.

I feel like Alice
Everything is upside down,
Backwards and inside out.

All I say is turned around
And turned against me.
But Who will help me?

For in the end Alice wakes up
But I cannot seem to escape
From All That I Have Done.

And overly judgmental.

But the words that fall

I Want To Drown I want to drown
To float so slowly into these depths
Where will I go?
When will it matter?
No more events to pass me by
No more feeling left out
Or forgotten.

I want to drown
I want to be swallowed whole by this darkness
Reflections of all I know
How do you recover?
How do you make up for lost
Faith?

I want to drown
To slip away into all the things I used to know
My adventures
My failures
Why didn't all my dreams come true?
Why would you never grant my wishes?

Where do you go?
When it's all gone?
All said and done?
When it's time for me to go,

Over I thought all fairy tales
Had happy endings.

That after all their trials
And tribulations

They wound up together
For better or for worse

But there's no hope here

There's no one waiting
At the end of this Path I walk

I have seen every sort of villain
And foe

I have conquered
I have succumb

But still there's no place of rest
No home

I honestly can't bring myself to care
How far I go.

May time takes it's toll
May the hands of fate move into that dark direction.

I have gone through my share in this life
Yet I have accomplished nothing at all.

It is time for this wanderer
To wander on

Okay, so I finally got up the gumption to try and join a poetry club on DA, here's to hoping they accept me!

Yes it is a big step forward for me, it's just too bad that it happens to be apart of me procrastinating on doing my work for all the important classes this week.

Speaking of college, it's rather depressing, I have three roommates in my dorm and apparently I am sooo quiet they don't even know when I'm home. I'd been here for over three hours the other day and someone came to the door looking for me and my roommates said I'd gone out 'cause they didn't know where i was...i mean i just feel like that's a little sad. You know what else is sad? The fact that i have to give my self treats to push myself into doing my homework. Right now if I get all my pointless work done for new student orientation I'm going to let myself have pocky, and then if i get my history work done i'm going to take a break and write and stuff and eat animal crackers.....

Then of course I have to eat dinner. Did you know that dinner is a lot of work? But I can't avoid it today because i haven't eaten anything at all....

Annnd i really need to go because i'm still not getting ANYTHING done ><.
