You show me too
But what could I offer you?

My love has never been enough
For people not in the least as great as you

My empathetic-sympathetic tendencies
And my unwillingness (or in your case inability) to lie
Have never been part of a bargain anyone would go for
No matter how I tried

My physical attributes have never been something to speak of
Not differing no matter how much work I put into it
A caring, friendly attitude have never caught anyone’s fancy
No matter how I cried no change came from the skies

You tell me you love me
And I know that you do
But what’s left of me to give to you?
